Dr. Wolters moved to
New Zealand in August 2025 with 23 years of practice experience in North
Carolina, USA. After completing her Doctor of Medicine and Clinical Internship
at St. Louis University in Baguio City, Philippines and spending a couple of
years in Germany, she and her husband relocated near Philadelphia in 1999 for a
3-year Family Practice training program. She is a Diplomate of the American
Board of Family Medicine and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family
Physicians.
Dr. Wolters believes that healthy living is a group effort. The connectedness and influences of the community, family, culture and nature should always be considered.Dr. Wolters is humbled to work and live in Aotearoa. She chose PFHC because of its homegrown history and longstanding commitment to the local community.
