Dr. Wolters moved to New Zealand in August 2025 with 23 years of practice experience in North Carolina, USA. After completing her Doctor of Medicine and Clinical Internship at St. Louis University in Baguio City, Philippines and spending a couple of years in Germany, she and her husband relocated near Philadelphia in 1999 for a 3‑year Family Practice training program. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Dr Elborough trained in Dundee Scotland, graduating in 1987, completed her GP vocational training in 1991, and moved to NZ in 2000 with her young family.

Dr Parkes’ special interests include paediatrics, women’s health and family planning. However, she enjoys all aspects of family health care from minor surgery to the care of ongoing illness. She particularly values getting to know people over time as she believes this is the key to effectively helping people with their health.

I graduated in 1987 in the Netherlands and initially gained hospital experience in the UK. I then spent enjoyable years outside of medicine bringing up four children and dabbling in woodwork as violin maker. Moving to New Zealand included some retraining to practice here, and this enabled me to join Pukekohe Family Health Care as GP in 2006.

Dr Morar was born in Pukekohe and attended local district schools. He practised general medicine in Rotorua for 13 years and was part of the development of a large Accident and Medical Clinic in that region. An opportunity presented for Dr Morar to return to Pukekohe in 1996 with his wife and two school age children and to join Pukekohe Family Health Care.

Dr Wynne-Jones was born and raised in Hamilton. He graduated from the University of Otago in 1986. He worked in the UK for 3 years, and then returned to New Zealand to complete the General Practice Training Programme in 1992. He then spent 7 years working as a General Practitioner for the University of Auckland, Department of General Practice in Manurewa.

Eve qualified in 2013 from the Dunedin School of Medicine, Otago University. Became a GP Registrar in 2017, and is working with the PFHC team. Eve has many interests within her work as a GP including Wellness and the overall balance of all patients seeking care.

Dr Saini grew up in Papatotoe and completed her medical degree from the University of Auckland. She worked for 6 years in various medical, surgical and obstetric units in Australia. She settled in Pukekohe with her family in 2010 and has been practising as a GP since. She us a fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners.

Dr Idoia Reyes graduated in Medicine in Spain in 2017 and completed her medical specialisation in Family Medicine in Barcelona. She has worked across a range of clinical settings, supporting patients with both acute and chronic health conditions. Her clinical approach is evidence-based, with a strong focus on preventative care, physical activity, and long-term wellbeing.
Nikki is a specialist nurse with 20 years’ experience in Pediatrics (children’s health), having worked at both Starship and Middlemore emergency departments prior to rejoining the PFHC team running the Little Feet clinic.

Ellis moved to New Zealand in 2009 and has since developed broad experience across the health sector. He is a qualified Nurse Practitioner (NP) and completed his postgraduate qualifications at the University of Auckland, graduating with a Master of Nursing (First Class Honours) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Sciences (Merit in Advanced Nursing).

Jacqui is a Community Nurse Practitioner with 14 years of experience in paediatrics. Jacqui has worked in paediatric medical and surgical inpatient settings at Kidz First, the Royal Children’s hospital in Melbourne and Starship hospital, she runs the Little Feet Clinic 4 days a week.

Lisa is an experienced Registered Nurse Prescriber who has worked in Primary Care within the Franklin Community for over 10 years. Her areas of specialty include Long Term Conditions, Women’s Health, and Ear Health. She is passionate about ‘holistic’ wellbeing; people being healthy in all areas of their lives – including physical, mental/emotional, spiritual, and family/community.

Tema is a specialist nurse that has always worked in Primary Health Care and has a keen interest in Diabetes management and women’s health.

I have been working in primary health care for over 11 years. I have built strong foundations in delivering comprehensive, patient-centred healthcare. I have worked in rural health and urgent care previously. For the past 15 months, I have been practicing as a Designated Nurse prescriber, with a passion for chronic disease management, such as diabetes and women’s health. I have completed postgraduate qualifications through The University of Auckland and currently hold a post graduate diploma.

Preet was born in India, moved to New Zealand in 2010 and joined the PFHC team in 2016. She has worked in Primary Care for over 15 years and has previously worked in areas including diabetes, emergency, renal dialysis, aged care and education. Preet is currently completing post graduate studies in Nursing & Health. Her areas of specialty include diabetes management. She is passionate about working in the community to support patients and whānau in achieving optimal health. Outside work, she loves to spend time with family, friends, reading and listening to music.

Sarabjeet moved to New Zealand from India 7 years ago and has worked within Primary Health Care for the last 6 1⁄2 years. She has a nursing background in Obstetrics, Gynaecology, ENT and Aged Care. Her areas of interest within General Practice include Travel health, Immunisations and Acute Care. Other languages spoken: Hindi-English & Punjabi
