Ellis moved to New Zealand in 2009 and has since developed broad experience across the health sector. He is a qualified Nurse Practitioner (NP) and completed his postgraduate qualifications at the University of Auckland, graduating with a Master of Nursing (First Class Honours) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Sciences (Merit in Advanced Nursing).
