Health coaching is a way of helping people gain the knowledge, skills, tools and confidence they need to take an active part in their own health care.

confidence they need to take an active part in their own health care.
Particularly useful for working with people with ongoing health issues, or
complex health needs. The health coach supports people and their whānau to
access community and online resources and supports to enhance their social,
emotional and physical wellbeing. They work closely with the health improvement
practitioner and other members of the general practice team.
There is no cost to seeing a Health Coach – the service is fully funded.
